Robert Robinson of Cambridge was one of the leaders of Protestant Dissent in the latter half of the eighteenth century. He was an eloquent preacher, an able scholar, and a champion of the cause of religious freedom. Two of the hymns which he composed are in the hymnals of many denominations: Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing and Mighty God, While Angels Bless Thee. In this well-written book, Rev. Graham W. Hughes has made a valuable contribution to Baptist history in particular and to Protestant history generally.
